WELCOME
With the world's highest immigrant concentration (population and mix), America's
socio-cultural and economic fiber stands to profit immensely from any human resource initiative that would focus on sharpening the social, cultural, intellectual and professional skills of its immigrant popuation. It is against this background that the National African Information and Resource Center (NAIRC) has been established to research and enhance the aforementioned competencies for America's African community, a severely under-resourced demographic within the national immigrant community.
The NAIRC is a Bridge for Success that should have been established decades ago should one consider the high immigration trends from Africa to America. In collaboration with the federal, state and local governments, partner institutions, the African Diplomatic Corps in Washington, D.C. and other stakeholders, the NAIRC is establishing institutional structures and rapidly developing its capacity to fully meet the rising and multifaceted needs of the African community.
